Frequently asked

Honest answers before you buy.

I'm 42 — is it too early to buy this?expand_more

40s is when this book pays back the most. The 55 reshuffle, CPF LIFE plan choice, and SRS strategy all need 10+ year runways to optimise — and the spreadsheet lets you project the cost of inaction. If you're under 35 with under S$200k of investable assets, the "CPF for Real Life" book is the better starting point.

I'm already 58 — is this still useful?expand_more

Yes. Chapters 3–5 (the 55 reshuffle, CPF LIFE choice, SRS withdrawal) are the highest-value chapters at your age. The CPF LIFE plan decision is permanent once made — getting it right is worth far more than S$69.

Does it assume I've done CPF top-ups already?expand_more

No. Chapter 2 covers CPF as a bond ladder including the case for top-ups vs alternatives. The book works whether you've done nothing or maxed out for 20 years — it just changes which chapters you spend the most time in.

Will it work for someone with mostly property wealth and limited CPF?expand_more

Yes. Chapter 7 covers property as a retirement asset — rightsizing, HDB silver bonus, rental, reverse mortgage, lease decay. Combined with chapters 1, 6, and 8, this becomes the primary playbook for property-heavy retirement plans.

Refund policy?expand_more

7-day no-questions-asked refund. Run the spreadsheet against your real CPF balances and SRS — if it doesn't earn its S$49, mail us back.
