Affiliate Disclosure
In plain English
Some links on Smart Calculator are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up with a partner, we may earn a commission — this never changes the rates, fees, or terms you receive. You pay the same as if you went to the partner directly.
Programmes we participate in
Smart Calculator is (or has applied to be) a participant in affiliate programmes including:
- SingSaver — credit card, savings account, and insurance comparisons
- MoneySmart — credit card and loan promotions
- Endowus — CPF/SRS/cash robo-advisory
- Syfe — diversified ETF robo portfolios
- StashAway — global robo portfolios and cash management
- PropertyGuru Finance — mortgage comparison and lead-gen
How we choose partners
We only feature Singapore-licensed providers that we would consider using ourselves. We do not accept payment to feature a partner more prominently, and our calculator results, formulas, and educational content are never influenced by commercial relationships. If a partner pays a higher commission, that does not change the order or weighting of recommendations.
How affiliate links are marked
Every affiliate link on this site is tagged with rel="sponsored" in line with Google's guidance, opens in a new tab, and is accompanied by a disclosure note. Affiliate placements appear in dedicated "Singapore-relevant tools" sections — never as inline links inside our explainer text.
What we will never do
- Change a calculator's formula to favour a partner's product
- Hide official government sources behind affiliate redirects
- Recommend a partner that we believe is not in the user's interest
- Pretend that an affiliate link is not an affiliate link
Questions
If you ever want to know whether a specific link or recommendation is affiliated, ask us at hello@smartcalculator.sg. We will tell you, every time.
